Gas Fireplaces

Gas fireplaces are a smart, efficient and convenient option whether you are building a new home or remodeling an existing one. Our fireplace showroom, located north of Pittsburgh in Zelienople, PA  features over twenty direct vent gas fireplaces on display. Download our gas fireplace buyers’ guide HERE to learn the differences between vented, direct vent and vent free gas fireplaces.

Our expert opinion is that if you can vent ( and it can almost always be done) you should. Direct vent fireplaces provide efficiency, beauty, and warmth. One vent pipe to the outside is all you need to bring in fresh air to burn with and exhaust the combustion fumes to the outside. No outside or exterior wall? No problem! Direct vent gas fireplaces can vent horizontal OR vertical. A sealed combustion system keeps the warm air in your home where it belongs!  Direct Vent fireplaces come in all shapes, styles and heat ranges. Our showroom is the perfect place to explore your gas direct vent fireplace options – we display a variety of traditional fireplaces, modern linear fireplaces, and rustic styles. Not all direct vent fireplaces are created equal! We display 4 different brands ranging from heater rated to furnace rated hearth appliances. Our expert sales staff can assist you in determining the right amount of heat for your room.

Fully vented gas fireplaces are a beautiful and authentic look in an area where you do not need or want heat. These systems are the only gas fireplaces the require a vertical vent pipe going thru your roof. Gas vented fireplaces differ from Direct vent systems because they are an open firebox. Glass doors are optional on a vented fireplace.

Vent free gas fireplaces are an efficient heat option but should only be considered after reviewing the side effects that the odor and moisture can create. Vent Free gas fireplaces burn off of the air already in  your home and expel the exhaust fumes back into the home at low levels. This type of fireplace works best when used at short intervals – they are not intended to be run for long periods of time like a furnace because of what they do to your indoor air quality.

We offer professional installation of these products from our in- house technicians. This will give you peace of mind that your new appliance has been installed to the latest safety standards.
